day 1294 – vday special

it was an eventful day at the office with a brief afternoon team building event. my legs are sore from the weekend seminar, but gladly stopped by st edwards’s and worked them some more. nothing special for a vday, just a simple day spent sharing a bubble tea at the end of the day. today is an exception where i allow myself to indulge on food i can’t normally have. i’ll just eat sparingly and do extra to work it off. this one briefly poked his face into mine on this special day of ours; going strong at eleven

my onboarding gift from the company is secured in my seat. part of the perks of working in this office is there’s no shortage of food. when i say that, there’s anyways fruits, sweets and junk food to be offered even at the most random times. i don’t want to get fat. this will be a true test of my will power and discipline not to indulge on the abundance of food offerings

harrison holiday

for as long as i can remember, my weekend can never been classified relaxing. spending my rare weekend off with mo at harrison was an enjoyable and relaxing one. we had our active moments hitting the gym, hitting tennis balls, hitting golf balls and hitting the water. we also had our relaxing moments just soaking in the hot springs and hot tub until our skin started peeling. and then i remind myself sometimes it’s okay to indulge and eat a little and drink a little because i keep myself in check mostly for times like this. i would definitely say it was a different kind of weekend than the ones i am accustomed to, but i enjoyed the company and quality time we shared. the weekend getaway with this goof was a memorable one

day 1063 – binging

dessert helps soreness coping. after two straight days of heavy loading on my legs, i could binge a little without feeling overly bad. soft peaks has been on the top of my bookmarked list for a long time. i finally got a chance to check out their shop in gastown and indulge in their organic ice cream. i had the chocolatey mudslide and mo had the blueberry blue mountain

day 1051- spicy sashimi

it’s been a while since i last went to sushi california. time to order myself a plateful of spicy salmon and tuna sashimi to satisfy my craving. sushi is one of those things that i can never get tired of; i really could eat japanese food all week long. lunchtime was pretty much the only bright spot of the day. i hate that the dullness from yesterday carries on as i am trying to sort myself out

day 717 – chocolate chill

it’s friday afternoon, the end of another week and i really craved something cold and chocolatey so i will allow myself to have cheat snack. not sure if i really liked it or my craving liked it. but i would describe timmy chocolate chill as an thick icy chocolate milk, or a poor man’s frappucinno. this better not become a regular craving because it would really get me chubs

day 331 – cherry season

i would know when cherry season is in because this is how my fridge looks like during its peak season. this is what my dad stocks in the fridge after realizing how much i like cherries. these are the sweetest and freshest kelowna cherries from a private farm but not sure if i can eat them everyday for breakfast, lunch and dinner
