day 1501 – left or right

DSC_0026.JPGcouldn’t decide left or right so after an hour of the dilemma, i finally made a decision to get both. it’s so difficult to find a style that fits me well. the guy at shop had a difficult time finding one that fits me well that didn’t appear short on me. that’s when i knew my legs were unproportionally long. let’s hope i can decided on one before all the padding of the old one falls off

day 1442 – one on one’s

resolution series: [two] decisions

decision making is a skill that humans slowly develop over time, but one may not notice it is not an innate skill. every child starts off with their parents doing the decision making because we are too young to make sensible choices. i have always had my parents make decisions for me no matter how big or small and that carried through to up and including university. i started later than most people and have developed too much reliance on my parents and others which may be the cause of my often indecisiveness. all i ever did was go with the flow and following the the instructions they give. but there comes a time when they have to slowly let go and let me make more of the decisions. sometimes the choices i make will be good and sometimes not so good, but its all a part of growing up and a learning curve that i must make. sure enough my parents will always be in the background giving me logical advice to consider because they’ve been through something i haven’t yet. sometimes it’s as simple as choosing the shoe i want to wear, which may seem harder than it really is. but i am slowly getting the hang of it by taking charge of my choices and paving for the road i want to travel

day 582 – suit up

image

i am still feeling the soreness of after effects of exercises earlier this week. resting my overused muscles and taking it as easy as i could with lots of stretching and pipe rolling. i can’t really do much with a sore posterior so let’s hope tomorrow’s lone practice will do wonders and get me ready for provincials. in the meantime. i am trying on my poomsae uniform and still debating if i want to pull it out for this weekend

day 285 – packing problems

theres is no such thing as packing light on my dictionary. debating how many uniforms to bring and which ones is even more stressful than the actual trip to toronto. that’s when you know you got too many options and combinations to choose from. having trouble fitting all my stuff in a duffel bag i think its time to pull out my suitcase
