day 1756 – japanese kitkat

coworker came back from japan trip with goodies to share. of the many flavors she brought back, i chose the matcha and sake. of the many kitkat flavors i’ve ever tried, matcha is still my favourite. a headache made me feel crappy this morning, i didn’t think i’d stay at the office the whole day. popping a few advils seemed to have helped me head and got me through the rest of it. calling it an earlier day and hopeful it gets better by tomorrow

day 789 – a little chatime

stopping for some chatime after mid autumn demo just because we are thirsty. feeling a little reminiscent of the times back at toronto nationals 2013 when we discovered chatime for the first time. there’s no shortage of good bubble tea in vancouver, but chatime does stand out from the rest and the lineup backs it up. even though this really doesn’t fit in my macro nor does my cold-like symptom appreciate it, i did it for my cravings. happy mooncake day everyone

day 462 – today’s lunch

keeping a close tab on my meals and trying to eat clean regularly and stick with the suggested nutritional proportions. lunch composed of a mix of bean sprouts, veggies and pork. it’s going to take some time to adjust to the many technical details of proportions and have to be really on top of it. hope i can keep going at this rate and stay disciplined to make some necessary changes

day 461 – post workout

returned home from good workout session and filling up my day’s macro with a protein shake. so glad i am done with the body fortress chocolate because it tasted horrendous in my opinion and now moving onto a much better tasting optimum nutrition white chocolate flavour. hope this helps a bit, although i am still expecting to be sore mighty tomorrow, but it’s the kind of pain that’s a resultant of hardwork

day 438 – potluck

a thanksgiving potluck with a large selection of  of delicious food was called for. so many choices of desserts available, i don’t even know where to begin. i only managed to try half the dishes and was already enough to keep my stomach satiated until 10pm. too much eating over this weekend isn’t a good thing at all. too much food to tempt me but can’t eat it if it doesn’t fit my macro

day 328 – timmy breakfast

as a result of waking up late this morning, had to stop by tim hortons for a bagel as a last resort. this cream cheese pretzel bagel is definitely too unhealthy for for my liking especially when i am trying to clean it up. the guilt of having just devoured this bagel will probably haunt me for next little while

day 322 – ydp meeting

damn good roast beef sandwich at the first of many weekly ydp lunch meetings. simple ingredients put together into a delish sandwich. source of healthy eating starts now and hopefully going to keep it that way but i have never had a good track record of staying with it
