day 1903 – continuation of seminar

enjoying my poke bowl for lunch during my second day of this seminar. it’s customized with salmon and tuna sashimi, mango, crab meat, masago, ginger, nori, shoots and topped with spicy sriracha sauce. since we got the basics down yesterday, we’re learning how to build a project and practicing how to setup according to our own preferences. i’ve been pretty intrigued and impressed with what the program can do

day 1902 – cabinet vision

day one of a three day training on cabinet. vision. the expectation was to have a full day going through dry material while being trapped in a windowless room for eight hours. that wasn’t the case and it turned out way more interesting than expected. i was originally suppose to travel to ontario for this training, but instead, manager and coo was in support and brought in a presenter. company paid training and catered lunch from chopped leaf doesn’t sound too shabby

day 1619 – workshop sampling

taking a field trip next to door to icon workshop to inspect and watch the building of headboards. it’s been a really busy first week back at work. the pace of the first week has been immensely different than last year. behind those shades i’ve been quietly taking care of business getting plenty of work done managing the triage of work. for me, this could be the year filled with opportunities to step up and prove myself capable for the lead role

day 1595 – millwork sampleĀ 

in the icon building inspecting the quality of vietnam millwork. overcapacity at work since everyone wants to get things in before the christmas closure. somehow i will need to wrap up all these jobs before i go on break. there’s a first for everything and today, i sat in my first ever interview. i was very nervous being part of the interview panel because what i say could make or break the interviewee’s chances
