day 1638 – gift of guava

apparently i needs to catch up on the world of fruits because a guava looks like a pear but taste or feel nothing like one. cut open the guava a fellow colleague left on my desk but didn’t end up liking it; at least i tried. back to the norm at work today – no tsunami warning kept my member at home, and no unreasonable deadline came my way. i am very glad i went in for a pit stop at chiro yesterday. my hip is feeling way better and up to par now. at least i can sleep at night without a heat pad and don’t have pain each time i sit down or get up. good call on getting it fixed before i head out to baker

day 1410 – marathoner

it was a marathon day. robot league playoffs followed by a hockey triple header for blings, chicks and sticks, and civil war, all consecutive with an hour rest combined. chiro was not thrilled but in the end he let it be and allowed me go through with it. i had much fun playing in playing in tier 5 hockey for my first time. so glad that higher tier game was the first followed by middle tier and then low because i was out of gas by drop in. my si joint started to give me sharp pains again in the second series of playoffs. it seems like tylenol is part of my diet nowadays just so i can satisfy my basic movements. it would be a lot more fun when i can play pain free again. when will that be??

day 1406 – fieldingĀ

it’s a dry day, so out with the old peeling mitt and in with the new mizunos. our lineup was smaller than usual but we managed. playing rover again today but it’ll be my first time batting third. softball game made my day better when playing with a good group who’s there to help and listen. i’ve had better days; but cracking balls, venting and getting my hip checked out helped indeed. chiro said due to my active level, my body will cycle through progression and regression. sharp pain will happen but he knows it won’t stop me so didn’t even try, but he reassured me he’ll get me back to my good state

day 713 – monday misery

monday is normally painful to get through, but this particular monday is especially painful. an near fatal incident yesterday night, left me with some bruises and burns right beside my eye and almost certain a misaligned hip as well. need to get it checked out and fixed cause my back and knees are all seized up. i am just glad the tumble i took missed by eye by merely a few millimetres. meanwhile in toronto, this is happening and canada is doing well based on medal count
