day 2022 – vertical jump

breaking in my nike romaleos during a snatch session. today’s snatches didn’t feel very good partially affected by the healing blisters. i didn’t snatch heavier than last week but i went through some high pull drills. in addition to my normal program, i also did a vertical jump test at the beginning which brought back some interesting data. though i have a twenty one inch vertical which is classified as very good, i actually want twenty four plus so i can be in the excellent range

day 1449 – platform

working on the timing of my high pull now that i can get back to doing full cleans. each rehab session is challenging but offers so much more than just regaining what i had lost. i get worked quite hard each time; my shirt is drenched in sweat by the end, but i like that it keeps me on my toes. my kineis plays a big part in fast tracking me to regain my strength and form. he along with chiro is building me stronger a better for the progress that’s expected to come. best of all, i no longer feel like the remnants of my accident ┬áhinders my body from doing my activities. i just need to work on and take care of the injuries i have racked up as of late

day 1104 – catching on

monday workout consisted of a lot of barbell and practicing my technique. continuing to put work in; snatching with better coordination and form today, but must remain patient with these lifts and make sure i break all the bad habits. i am a big believer in staying reserved because good technique goes a long way. finished off the night with a softball game. i can’t tell if things hurt, are tired or sore, but it’s not a bad way to start off the week
