day 1508 – free check

one thing i like doing when strolling is using free health check machines at drugstores. i’m pretty sure it’s put there for seniors to keep tab on blood pressure, but i’m a health conscious and self conscious person. in the past i’ve gone down to nineties over fifties which gave my kineisiologist a scare. the numbers are still low but at least it’s triple digit systolic number and inching closer to optimal range

day 710 – brown rice

not eaten brown rice sushi before but it certainly looks funky. i tried a piece of my mom’s avocado brown rice sushi and it doesn’t taste horrible but it loses the sense of eating sushi. i think i will stick with the conventional sushi, not that i am a fan of rice to begin with. having dinner with my mom instead of going to the gym because i am too sore to do anything else

day 679 – fruit bowl

the highlight of today is my morning’s snack featuring a nicely arranged fruit bowl for snack courtesy of mom. it’s without question living with parents is a luxury and i benefit from everything they do on a consistent basis. the little things that my mom does is truly a blessing and makes me feel like a princess. i want to stay a little girl cause i don’t think i am ready to move out anytime soon

day 665 – learns to cook

a proud moment cooking lunch and dinner for myself, all by myself. here’s some healthy looking salmon fillet so i don’t starve myself while my parents left me for travelling. i am no iron chef by all means, but watching all those cooking shows are paying off now. i would like to take all the credit even though all i had to do was put it in the oven and it would cook itself

day 609 – april fool’s

so march is over in a flash and i can’t believe it’s the start of another month. grabbing lunch at joeys on the first day of april, celebrating big boss’ birthday on april fool’s. first time eating at the bentall one location and never knew this place was so huge. my order of ahi tuna taco with lettuce cups was very delicious. the portion was so small i was actually able to finish my meal for once

day 545 – morning meal

i was up very late last night doing a lot of thinking, that’s usually when my mind wanders far off, it doesn’t feel like i slept much at all, but no matter what life must go on. as usual, starting my day off with some multi grain cheerios. it all sounds healthy until you realize how much sugar is actually in the cereal. but oh well, still an optimal choice because it is quick and easy

day 537 – fitbit

shit just got real and i dare not look back because things are about to change for the better. i don’t know what exactly sparked it, finally decided to make that big move after such a long time of eyeing it. it was not a matter of if i would get it but when, so figured i might as well stop wanting and start doing. i am super stoked to get going and kickstart what has been a pressing issue for me. now that i am a proud owner of this gadget, it’s really game on and time to make things happen
