day 1486 – five starĀ

just got confirmation that my fifth star has been added to the team hard hat. the amount of stars beside my name is a pretty good display of what i have accomplished thus far. i’m proud of the improvement and success i had in my first full year, but also not settling for anything less than what i can be. i’m predicted to continue to grow as a hockey player, but where that growth and progress takes place is not yet determined

day 1317 – quadruple star

second playoff game in four days is ample of hockey for me this week. i was very reserved going into this game but that was all erased when i got my fourth star on this hat. i skated hard, scored my first career playoff goal and my nicest goal by far – a one timer without hesitation. took two bodychecks from my own teammate that knocked me to the ice; i’m sure i’ll feel them tomorrow. that’s enough late night for the week, i really need the sleep to heal up

day 1234 – hat worthy

adding another star to my name after tonight’s game. had good ice time and fought hard for that hat. i’ll be first to admit i wasn’t fully ready for tonight’s game after eating at gyu kaku with fellow rdl execs, but still got it done. this meeting is more of a celebratory dinner to appreciate everyone’s effort, carrying their own weight and make it another smooth season. it got wild in a hurry when we realized we ordered too much drinks and had to chug the rest down. i was on my best behaviour for the better part considering the amount of food presented in front of me, but even then the amount put into my stomach makes me feel way too fat
