day 2395 – coach jervin’s

saturday night celebrating coach jervin’s birthday at flightclub. i brought sushi to the potluck dinner and it was demolished within twenty minutes. after much eating, chatting and cake cutting, we played big games of mafia. it was really fun since it was my first time being a mafia. can’t believe some of us stayed until almost 2am just chatting in the dark. this was after teaching seven straight hours so i was super tired and my brain could barely function properly

day 2338 – nacho christmas

i showed up fashionably late to nacho friends christmas party after my weightlifting session. it was a potluck dinner with a white elephant exchange. we also played playstation nhl and a couple board games. there’s was so much food leftover because everyone brought way too much to the potluck. i ended up taking home half the things i brought and then some. i don’t really know how i feel hanging out with some group – it’s no longer the same feeling

2042 – killarney kids

this is the end of our poomsae training sessions before saturday’s bc championship. this is one of the largest killarney team we’ll have at a provincial competition. through the past several weeks of training, they’ve work really hard and improved a lot. i want to keep growing killarney’s competition team and create the comradery that we’ve never had before. hopefully this will lead to something good like taking some of them to bigger stages

day 1555 – team outing

design team is rewarded a team bonding event for what we’ve been able to pull together even when under staffed. we chose to make a trip down to tsawwassen mills for some adventure, food and bowling. just a fun event outside of work setting where we could all just be friends. contemplated if i should have bowled, even though bowling only requires one hand. i did it anyway because i’ve had enough of sitting on the sideline. i just had to be super careful so not to have any unnecessary setback

day 1393 – gstringers bonderĀ

took us long enough to finally have our gstrings season end get together. partying at eastside crafthouse thanks to our spirit award gift certificate. for those of us on the team who are straight, the conversation got really awkward at times and even uncomfortable; it’s never a dull moment with these girls. it’s a long off season but we’ll be returning next season to kick some more butts
