day 2095 – xingfu tea

i didn’t do what i wanted to do this morning – have my xrays taken. it would have been a killer to wake up at 8am after a late night for walk in clinic. one thing i did do was stop at the newest bubble tea shop after our civil war game. i ordered their speciality brown sugar pearl with milk tea. it tasted good, but nothing crazy enough for me to line up for. in fact, i probably would prefer something else because it was too sweet for my normal liking. drinks aside, i just like to hang out with this bunch after games

day 1937 – grand opening

was there to attend the grand opening of my cousin’s chocolate shop. it wasn’t very interesting because i didn’t even know three quarters of the people that attended. i really had no reason to stay there after the official ceremony, but i guess my mom had to do her socializing. i find that sometimes she takes on too much and becomes more of a counselor, mentor and psychologist for everyone around her. not everyone will appreciate her keen sense of friendliness

day 625 – cactus coal harbour

looking back at the grand opening trades night of cactus club coal harbor. thinking bakc and remembering how frustrating the work was but also realizing how rewarding it is to be a part of something so grand. since its grand opening, i have been back to this location three times. the food is an excuse to go eat there, but more importantly is the memories and signifiances this place holds
