day 1708 – bakery cakery

rushing out of the office like a mad woman trying to buy a cake on the day of my brother’s birthday. what i was going for was a mousse cake but none left so i stuck with chinese fruit cake. most of my family members doesn’t eat whip cream, but we’ll make do this time and make sure we order in advance the next time around. we may not talk much with both of us being workaholics and having such busy schedules, but i’ll still go the distance for him when necessary

day 1666 – green apple

setting aside some time to do my run training since the sun run is only two months out. my lungs were clearly not used to all this cardio, i don’t know how people run the marathons or do ironman. though it’s sunny, the subzero temperature and icy ground doesn’t make it sense to be running outside. on my way to the gym i spotted a green apple mercedes on the road

the truth of success

often people have very ambitious goals and so happens to be right after new years for obvious reasons. it’s one thing to set goals but its another thing to do what it takes to achieve it. the saying it’s easier said than done is true to its words, i would know. but make sure once you set these goals, you back it up with action or else it only gets lost and becomes a dream in never never land. the road to success isn’t meant to be easy. in fact, more often than not, every goal is a long winding road that will involve many setbacks and obstacles along the way. don’t get discouraged if it doesn’t turn out exactly how you envisioned, keep looking forward and slowly but surely you will reach your goal
