day 1749 – expensive fuel

img_20200130_2201216325806321312771422.jpgi can’t believe my eyes when the pump ejected my receipt. one full fill up now cost me eight nine cents short of a hundred. the cost of living in vancouver has gone up so much in both driving and living. it used to cost mid eighties for one tank of gas, now it’s almost triple digits. condos are so out of reach, it makes saving up for a down payment next to impossible. it makes me wonder what steps are required to follow the skyrocketing market in order for my generation to settle in vancouver

day 1722 – petrol prices

img_20200130_2323045355337486565170273.jpgit takes over ninety to fill up my shadow. the price to pay for one tank of gasoline is already way too high and there’s talk that it’s on the rise. i love my car and the flexibility of going to places anytime. there’s no way i’d give up driving, but doesn’t mean i’ll stop complaining about the high vancouver oil price. i don’t look forward to paying triple digits for on tank of gas
