after doing plenty of research, i’m going through the do it myself route. handpicked a few recipes that contains ingredients i readily have in my kitchen. i keep putting off picking up protein bars, so might as well roll up my sleeves and wisk some myself. if this turns out well, i might actually have something to eat on friday. it was a pretty simple process, but the washing and cleaning time took as long as making the bars

day 1429 – cherry imports

i’m happy but not surprised when i saw giant boxes in my kitchen. this is the time of the year when my dad orders ten pounds of cherries from coworker who owns a farm in okanagan. normally i would eat cherries as meal replacements, but it as big and sweet as other years since the peak season is delayed this year. it will get finished nonetheless and then he’ll order another batch

day 1321 – exec lineup

execs delivering announcements before commencing with week seven play. even though it’s spring break for schools, dodgeball doesn’t stop. i cannot imagine how fast the season has gone by and pubnight is this weekend. it was fun tonight running between the courts of tier 1 and tier 3. i kept my warmup sweater on and refused to take off no matter how hot and sweaty to avoid any explanations

day 331 – cherry season

i would know when cherry season is in because this is how my fridge looks like during its peak season. this is what my dad stocks in the fridge after realizing how much i like cherries. these are the sweetest and freshest kelowna cherries from a private farm but not sure if i can eat them everyday for breakfast, lunch and dinner
