day 1796 Рoh canada

a different canada day unlike any previous years where i had to host a taekwondo competition. this is the most laid back canada day i can remember, spent it helping my parents with some cleaning up and recycling old junk. the nagging headaches is really not going away, and making me feel uninterested even in my most favourite things. the long weekend continues with a nice dinner out at kishimoto before checking out a free concert. even though it was rainy and slightly cold, the swanguard stadium festivities and fireworks turned out well

day 883 – downtown countdown

image

spending the last of 2015 near canada place enjoying beautiful holiday lights before some highly anticipated midnight fireworks. the night was so cold, two brisk walks along the seawall was more than enough to get us frozen head to toe. 2015 was good for the most part, but i know that 2016 will be the best year yet. ready to take on bigger challenges that will get me past levels i have come far too comfortable at staying within

day 367 – japanese style sparklers

another year has passed by and another year of celebration of lights. chilling at the beach on a long weekend, soaking in some sun, getting a tan, meeting strangers sitting next to us and even getting free shades with colour coordinated shades. the performance japan put together was amazing and the finale was definitely one of the best i ever witnessed. great day in all, with some crazy exercises at the gym and tons of cardio booking it to and from the skytrain station

day 360 – because food is essential

probably shouldn’t be stuffing my face again, but i am stuffing my face with some taiwanese food and bubble tea. eating is the way to lazy out cause i felt too lazy to drag my butt to catch the fireworks tonight. need to exercise to balance out that intake and output, but it isn’t happening tonight

day 1 – canada fireworks

one of the most impressive celebration of lights showing i have attended. from the crowd reaction, canada made vancouverites proud and displayed some beautiful fireworks. it was definitely worth fighting for a spot on english bay plus the long crowded speed walk and commute back home
