andy roddick forever my fave

happy birthday to my all time favourite tennis player. no matter what, he always gave his all and gave lots for his diehard fans to be proud of. i only wish he didn’t retire premature from the tennis tour so i would have the opportunity to watch him play live and potentially get his autograph. had my hopes up when he announced he would like to return to play in this year’s us open only to have my dream crushed by atp unwritten rules. nonetheless, retirement was his decision to make and as long as he is happy, i am happy for him

image

new president is the centre of all news and talk in vancouver these days. days after accepting the offer to be canucks new president, trevor is once again featured. best thing that happened this season that brings joy to my heart knowing this is exactly what the canucks needed and no doubt the place he belongs. what would i do to get a chance to personally meet trevor linden??

happy birthday mr president

Trevor Linden (87)

happy birthday to my most respected and beloved canucks of all time. he’s brought me so much joy and so much memories that i will never forget. been watching and admiring him since i was in grade 3, still remember all the memorable times he had as a canuck player and hope there will be a lot more to come as the president!! you are the reason why i like the canucks and the reason i continue to support the canucks through thick and thin. you are one of my greatest idol and that will never change

day 43 – mopete!!

extremely happy to hear former raptors morris peterson was inducted into michigan state university hall of fame, and deservingly so.  he was not the biggest superstar by all means, but he doesn’t have to be in order to be a player i enjoyed watching. here’s my hamber grad locker plate kept in mint condition and continues to hang on my room door to this day

a proud mopete fan!!

growing up watching raptors basketball, mopete was amongst my favourite nba players. i admired the way he played the game no matter what the score dictated, how he treated his teammates on and off the court, and never let his fans down each and every game with his ironman streak. be remembered for everything plus the amazing number of 3 pointers, circus shots made and not to mention buzzer beaters. he was truly an inspiration and no doubt deserves this michigan hall of fame status.
