the inevitable day has come and it’s really time to say goodbye. i have been wishing this day would never come, where we send you off to go back home. i hadn’t realize how influential you have been in my taekwondo career, both as a student and as an instructor. i am proud to say you are my great friend, instructor, coach and mentor. believe me, i would never have gotten this far without your support so thanks for teaching me so much and thanks for supporting me and my competition dreams in every way you could. the transition and move forward won’t be easy and i am feeling eerily uncertain about myself, but i will try my best to hold it together and continue towards the big stage. i wish you the best of luck in hong kong and look forward until we meet again
getting together with a couple others for an impromptu farewell lunch because he is leaving our downtown neighbourhood for better opportunities filled with exciting adventures. but i will probably still see him elsewhere, just not in downtown business attire. my order of sashimi tuna salad tasted as good as it looked; rarely am i so satisfied after eating a salad and one that i would order again in the future
everyone chipped in for a big baby shower present and an early farewell party. so much food to be had during the potluck party i consumed too much and feel way too bloated to stay awake. i am sure i am not the only one that feels sluggish and unproductive for the rest of afternoon. the decoration balls are impressively made from raw tissue paper through following some tutorials. the power of youtube videos are amazing
while i am at it, might as well have my two dodgeball team dinners on back to back nights. celebratory dinner of best team cheer award with wings night out. it was a fantastic season, we played really well as a team and made it deep into the playoffs just shy of a repeat tier champ. it’s sad to see a teammate leave us for school, but it was awesome playing with him and definitely will be missed. season 18 is no doubt a season to remember, be ready and hungry for season 19
farewell to another year and embracing a new year with hopes of better things to come. enjoyed a show at improv theatre before partying it up late at night, or shall i say early in the morning while doing countdown with friends. chilled at a friends place, played games, munched on finger food and of course whats a party without some liquor. this is my last post of 2013, i had a great time keeping up with the posting. happy new year and stay tuned for more in 2014!!
it’s farewell, i will never forget all the memories we created and all the adventures we have been through. it’s been a great ride, you have been a workhorse and served me well for the last five years but it is time to let go. i will be missing your little engine and snowtires that gets me all over the place even in vancouver’s worst conditions. wish the new owner treats you well and one day we will meet on the road again
