day 2128 – grand place

arrived in belgium by late afternoon on a eurostar train and made a very productive first day. started by going far out to atomium where i did my second flip. it was a little better than the first, but still not getting the height and rotation i’d like to see. also visited grand place, manneken pis and bruxelles stock exchange building. we were much more efficient than the original itinerary; i hope it’s not because we’re doing a hasty job of taking photos and not fully absorbing. we even went back to grand place and stayed until 10:30 before deciding this is as much light as we’ll get to see

day 1205 – project time

drop the idea of searching for my usb. instead of keeping my hopes up that it will one day turn up, i’m restarting my project because that’s a better use of my time. in the past i might stay upset and dwell on it, but i’m better than that now. what’s done cannot be undone, what’s past is past so just do what i need to do to get the job done. i have already proven to be more efficient the second time around; with one afternoon, the model has of my most basic elements. nerding it out today so i’ll be at the same stage soon enough. not staying up tonight since i barely got any sleep last night with an ailing hip and neck

day 1001 – quick lift

decided against playing dodgeball tonight, but didn’t want to feel too useless and couldn’t let my laziness dictate. what better way to treat the soreness than to force my body through a quick light workout. making the most out of my time, working efficiently with little rest so i can maximize that quick hour workout. i am comfortable at the gym and it’s where my heart wants to be even when i am sore all over

day 633 – acupuncture

this is¬†perfect execution of the phrase¬†using my time wisely and couldn’t have used my time anymore efficiently. i was able to fit in an appointment for some needle poking and massage between morning poomsae training and afternoon teaching. believe me training more days and longer hours takes its toll on my body. this is just one of the many things i need to do to keep my knee and other body parts as happy as it will allow
