day 2072 – skinny

a look back to when i was at my leanest and also have two happy ankles. at that point, i was eating well and exercising optimally while on properly working ankles. i liked it back then when i was at my lowest body fat percentage with a four pack, while being able to do eleven consecutive pullups. i’m not liking where i am at now; i’m sure the stresses at work and injury troubles plays a big factor. let the cutting phase begin to get back to the best shape i’ve ever been. the time is now to stay focused on my goals and disciplined on how i’m going to get there

day 1252 – crunch time

new mug for crunch time to start a highly anticipated year. it’s the time to get back with my plans and grind even harder than before. back to work and upping my game so i can work harder, train smarter, eat better, stay healthier and get adequate sleep. it was a rough night of sleep last night; it’ll take some time to adjust my body clock to 6am mornings again. the night was eased with a good dinner out for papa ng’s birthday dinner

day 910 – not mashed potato

cooking up some alternatives to satisfy my cravings for mashed potato. first time using this recipe and must say the final product turned out really well. i will definitely make this again but opt to make some adjustments to improve the texture. who needs potatoes when cauliflowers can taste so delicious and satiisfy me the way it did. good to know i don’t need to be an iron chef to make good food like this

 

day 902 – blackberry

thought i would get away from my regular flavours and try some new flavours this time. blackberry was a bad choice, i didn’t expect it to taste horrible but i guess i didn’t know what to expect. i hope the other flavours in this batch taste better. feeling strange today, almost a little down for no particular reason, i skipped out on my original evening plans and just went to the gym instead

day 881 – eating right

holiday seasons are terrible when it comes to indulgences. there’s just so much food everywhere i go, as if everyone is ready for bulking season. i am so sick of seeing food that sometimes i feel hungry but have no appetite. getting my greens today and sticking to my plan because i want no part in holiday food anymore. i know i made the right decision cause i felt so much more refreshed not having consumed dense food
