day 1807 – camper

i was on the fence of doing bootcamp today but got peer pressured into it since multiple coworkers tried to call me out for skipping. i didn’t want it to interfere with the new workout schedule i had planned to start. luckily i didn’t get lazy after the bootcamp; i stuck with my original plan and went to the gym after. it worked out because i spent that time at the gym while knight bridge was experiencing huge delays from a truck collision. though i didn’t completely escape from the backed up traffic of a flipped truck, i got my pulling exercises in

day 1389 – lightly


with the way my life has been lately, today brought a slight smile that i haven’t seen or felt in weeks. got the nod from the chiro as long as i promise to keep it light and away from his nono list. went through all my big lifts but at most seventy percent of what i usually do. everything within my execution felt fine except for the bench. still no olympic lifts, plyos, overheards, nor ballistic movement, but just being back brought a smile to my face

day 1339 – lift myself

this week has been real rough fighting so much distractions. made it to the end of the work week and lucky to be still in one piece. the take back for this week is how to be one of the pillar for my family when called upon. many things have been limited if not put on hold; i haven’t been to the gym as often as i usually do. many things have backtracked and dropped much strength but good to know i still can pick up myself, literally

day 938 – big dumbbells

hanging around with the big boys with the big weights. finally stepping it up and trying to befriend that sixty and sixty-fiver for rows. elbow held up well for back day, but once dodgeball rolled around, it’s completely shot again. clearly something is really wrong with it but i still haven’t figured it out. i need to get to the bottom of this in a hurry. i can’t go through the rest of the season either not throwing or throwing in pain
