day 956 – skating

image

my lifestyle is best suited for crazy packed days, that’s just the way i like it. a fun sunday afternoon skate between several hours of teaching and couple hours of poomsae training to make my day complete. no better way to spend my first day back after reactivating my leg, than to go out all with leg intensive activities. i can feel my legs have gotten weaker through the stretch of interrupted physical life. it doesn’t help being sluggish after a pubnight and losing an hour from daylight savings

day 820 – working overtime

image

deadline calls for crazy schedules with early morning, late nights, no lunch, no breaks and little sleep. the times when i am not only operating with next to no sleep, but also inadvertently bypassing meal times. three days of neverending work and uncomprising schedule can really get you. working overtime and going as fast as i possibly can in order to make a push for tight deadlines. i made my deadline tonight, good night world, i need to catch a little snooze before its morning again

day 795 – weekend warrior

image

feeling like a weekend warrior so i woke up early for a brief tennis session followed by gym. i am sick, but that doesn’t really stop me much, or at all. all this was completed before noon so onwards with the rest of my day. i miss going to this place so much but i know i will be back and need to be back much more consistently. my schedule this fall season just got a lot busier in a hurry but i wouldn’t complain because as long as my body can handle it, i will do it

day 671 – arctic ice

image

mixing it post workout once again. keeping up with the supplements plus replenishing all that i lost throughout in getting ready for the vigorous training and heavy demands of my schedule that awaits. i am about to become a crazier workaholic than i already am. i did learn today that this powder is best mixed with ice cold water out of the fridge tastes much better

twenties series: [eight] pace

it may sound strange coming from a person whose life runs at the speed similar to the highway traffic where park zones do not exist. i am just at a point in my life where all my commitments and deadlines are happening all at once, and no matter how fast i push myself, i can never fit everything into a my twenty four hour span. i hate to say that all my commitments may not even fit even if i was granted an additional two hours each day. i drive a bmw with a relatively powerful engine, if i was given a race caliber car, it would be scary scene to see how fast my life moves at when i step on that gas pedal. in the past month, i have been running on a full load and tight schedule based on an average of five hours of sleep per night. its a miracle that i am still functioning after several weeks but i am uncertain how long i will be able to hold up. some things has got to change or i won’t be able to keep up with this hectic and crazy lifestyle. with that said, life is not a race to the finish line, learn to slow it down and pace yourself. you will be glad you did because there are many rewards at every stage of life and chances are you may miss it if you speed through everything

day 431 – nonstop sunday

image

a crazy sunday with back to back to back to back to back activities that started with an early morning draft, then a couple hours of teaching, rushed to dodgeball skills clinic, followed by instructor seminar and meeting and finally onto poomsae training. last minute confirmation for competition finally approved, meaning its time to get going on my own poomsae training

day 417 – full day’s worth

image

occupied by a full day of taekwondo which started with an overloaded meeting and ended with another dinner. so many tasks at hand, so many news, so many changes, so many new ideas, so many things tasks left undone. there’s just too much thrown on my plate, i simply don’t have the time to fit all in my already crazy schedule nor the energy to carry the load. i wonder how long i will last before these tasks start spilling over my plate
