day 1837 – work hours

what has my work hours become better be temporary. i’m on my work laptop saturday night hammering out some project work after my teaching shift. i pulled out the laptop thinking i’ll get some work done. what was intended to be a one hour thing soon became a four hour thing. i’m burnt out from the amount a work a week because over sixty five hours just isn’t normal nor healthy

day 1765 – kp time

decided living off tape to walk normally wasn’t sustainable, so went in to the clinic to fix my neck, knee and ankle. i walked into physio clinic with many things that was either tight or wasn’t feeling right, but walked out with assurance i’ll be able to move properly again. crazy its been twenty years since my physio opened this clinic and even crazier thinking what i would have done the past fourteen years if it weren’t for him. i hope he never retires so i can continue to ham with everything i do and everything i want to do

day 1743 – repose

i miss the gym, a lot, but i’m going to resist from going to the gym for at least two more days. i need the rest and my body needs to recover after such a crazy but fun-filled birthday week of festivities. when i step back into the gym, i want to be fresh and ready to begin my new program. let me relinquish the feeling of not being sore for forty more odd hours because once the grind starts, maybe i’ll only feel soreness. spent an evening catching up on my news feed and tvb drama

day 1585 – christmas with company

it’s not often, but sometimes i try and could look quite classy too. it’s that time of the year to dress up for the annual harrison hotsprings company christmas party. the party was catered buffet with an open bar. came out having enjoyed good food, lots of photos and a nice big door prize. the dinner party was just the beginning; the after party was where the main event was at. perfect time to put on the party hat to join in on the games and the shots of soju that came with. it was a good night of partying that didn’t settle down until 3am. i’ll be tired and maybe even hungover, but i’ll enjoy myself to the fullest

day 1414 Рnumero uno 

although i haven’t been here too many times, this box feels so homey because this place has everything i like. a good first kineis rehab session in the books. nothing too difficult and starting off easy since he wasn’t sure where i was at with my recovery. he’s one of the most caring dudes i’ve ever worked with and would ask if i was okay every so often. the way he treats me is very warming and sweet. i wish i could play with everything here, but i had to lay off doing crazy stuff that he wouldn’t be concerned . soon, i hope the crazy stuff will be mine again soon

day 1217 – seven to ten

crazy long day working and schooling for fourteen straight hours and hanging on with five hours of sleep. got home from class half past ten and felt too tired to even eat. it doesn’t help that i’m super stressed out about my term project due in a week on top of the final exam. i am still establishing a protocol to sleep earlier, all for my long term health benefits with the changes my schedule demands

day 1172 – referee debut

going to master cup with with the identity of a referee instead of a competitor or coach. first time officiating provincial sparring matches and official blackbelt poomsae divisions; definitely an eye opener. crazy long day with ten straight hours of taekwondo today. i definitely enjoyed judging the official blackbelt as opposed to being centre referee for sparring. i needed tying tie tutorials first thing in the morning as i haven’t worn a tie since hong kong elementary school days
