the grandmaster ordered a zoom meeting for the committee of instructors who will be teaching private lessons starting june. i was annoyed the grandmaster spoke to me as if i haven’t seen any of the posted info, when i had originally written it and given credit to others.
while social distancing has distanced the nacho friends, we needed a way to virtually see each other’s faces. it was good to see what everyone was up to during the quarantine days. all of us are bored and some of us have lost our day to day jobs. i hope to set up a zoom video conferencing regularly just so all of us can stay in touch and stay sane during this crazy time
call to action conference day two was much the same – more learning and more networking. the hype of the swag chase died down. conferences like this presents great learning opportunity, just tough on my body because i’m not used to sitting and staying still for long periods of time. i walked out with a couple friends to have a sushi lunch close to tinseltown. unbounce fed us plenty through the two days. i didn’t attend the after party, but i heard there’s a lot of food and drinks offered
i can count with one hand the amount of times i transited in the last year, and today was one of them. day one of the unbounce call to action held in downtown. i started off the first two sessions sitting with the rest of the marketing team, but i wandered off after that. i felt more comfortable being on my own and had a chance to meet new people. afterall, marketing conferences are meant for networking and meeting others alike. i was also glad to see a few familiar faces from my sports circle. aside from learning, the goal of today was to collect all the swag i wanted and i did so in the first half of the day
