day 1748 Рfoul territory

i was five feet away from possibly hitting my first ever home run. i had never struck the ball so hard in my softball days and if it only shifted five or so feet to the right, it would have landed in fair territory well over the left fielder. we played a high tiered team today and got creamed but we’ll be back on the field for more softball come thursday. it was a scorching day with sweat down my back even when standing on the field. on my drive home, my car registered thirty degrees celsius

day 1437 – slopitch team

aside from chasing a pitch first at bat, i settled down and had myself a very strong game. played a good hard game and ran the bases hard. my offense went three for four, made solid contact, got a rbis, and beat out some throws. there was lots of action at first base this game and even i surprised myself with all the catches and shags. i quite like it at first base, but also like using my speed to track down balls. i’m rounding out to be a good utility player that can fit multiple positions. i hope to try my hand at shortstop one day

day 402 – morning session

image

got out bright and early to fit hitting prior to a super long and busy day and also beat out others for the courts. these confederation courts are so popular and fill up fast during prime time. my knee gave me little trouble for the most part during the play, but that’s also due to my numerous tape jobs and braces that helps me¬†keep things intact. i’d go the distance to make sure i get to play what i love

day 397 – much needed restringing

image

it was not raining just like the forecast promised, so was out doing some light hitting because i was getting major tennis withdrawal. playing with great deal of caution knowing my movements are very limited and knee is nowhere near fine but make do with current condition. making a last push for this summer before the tennis season is gone and desperately needing some new strings and if next weekend is sunny, guess where i can be found

day 393 – scripted dunk

image

at confederation park sneaking some water from the kids playground with all the right intentions. here to help complete an als ice bucket challenge for one of my nominees who took the time to actually prepare props and script. too bad it was a not so sunny nor warm day to dunk a bucket of ice and water
