day 2490 – task list

these tasks i’ve been procrastinating won’t do itself unless i get on it. i woke up and wrote myself a to do list just to measure my productivity. i set myself a couple hours as in the afternoon as my ‘work block’ to check off some of these. by the end of the work block, i completed eight of the twelve on the list. i guess doing eight is a good start compared to the zero i’ve done leading up to today. i really wish i could reduce the procrastination for things i find more difficult or tedious

day 2374 – squat days

skipping the paused squats and added a little bit of weight to the old fashioned back squats. it was deloaded week so kept the weights in check and didn’t stretch myself too far. i also did some lighter cleans for feelers and they felt doable. i hope return to apex this week and start off feeling more fresh. it being the first of february sure seems like some resolutioners dropped off because the gym is slowly becoming less packed

day 1508 – free check

img_20200128_2256479041664131791718167.jpgone thing i like doing when strolling is using free health check machines at drugstores. i’m pretty sure it’s put there for seniors to keep tab on blood pressure, but i’m a health conscious and self conscious person. in the past i’ve gone down to nineties over fifties which gave my kineisiologist a scare. the numbers are still low but at least it’s triple digit systolic number and inching closer to optimal range

day 1385 – elbows

img_20200204_1714507526963435880886134.jpgsecond week into my rehab program with the chiropractor and it brought some good news. although i still am off limits when it comes to the gym, second week is noticeably better than the first. i no longer wake up feeling like a train hit me. ┬ámy chiropractor likes that my back progressing at his pace, but now has to check whether my elbow is fractured. after bending it and twisting it, i’m leaning towards no fracture
