day 2252 – dodgeball action

the game of dodgeball is definitely more familiar in week two. i was saying that the first week was a total blur and my ball awareness and court vision wasn’t present. even though we played one short, we as a team had better ball control. at least i made one catch, that’s one more catch than last coupled by better throws. it’s a lot more fun when you stay alive and in the play longer than thirty seconds

day 1843 – back on field

my shoulder still feel restricted and painful in outstretched positions, but back in my cleats and on the grass field playing softball for the first time in four weeks. i have to protect my shoulder by limiting the amount of movement it can do. realizing that’s quite difficult when i have to snatch all of throws that come my way to first base. i’m not going to lie it hurts when playing, and i’m sure that expected on my first games back

day 1090 – frisbee game

my cleats have been busier this summer alone than it has ever been in last few years combined. bringing out my cleats to play some ultimate frisbee; reliving six or seven years ago when i last played in vul. i was suppose to play conservatively, but i didn’t think twice before making a diving play. my back and ankle feels terrible after laying out to make a catch, but at least i made the catch. i was fun but i haven’t ran so much in a day; cardio is not my thing
