scoring my way through to winning the wager of a sushi meal. from the exterior, i would never have known this was a eatery until my friend highly recommended. everything about this place is authentic – the decor to the service and the food. we ordered a sushi set platter, suonomono, dungeness crab california roll and tempura udon. what i had today were one of the finest and freshest nigiris ever tasted

day 1348 – sushi chefs
just a mellow sunday planning our itinerary along with making california rolls, wakame sushi along with miso soup for dinner. second try at making homemade sushi is much better than the first because we learned from our amateur mistakes. it also helps when we have the proper rolling utensils. note to self, this serving size is way too much for two and can probably serve four
day 1188 – sushi fix
after being out of town for four days surviving mainly on bread components, i was massively craving sushi and homecooking. i am just happy to be back in my regular routine doing mundane things, eating sushi, seeing my family and of course spending time with mo. just as he thought i only shopped for myself, i surprised him with a souvenir from portland outlet. it was a rough october with unproportional low ups to downs ratio; but more importantly i survived and look forward to a november to remember
day 1165 – diy sushi
our thanksgiving longweekend started off adventurous. besides my coaching duties, much of our day was spent venturing at tsawwassen mills, shopping and trying to be iron chefs. did my share of window shopping at the new outlet in the morning; the lineup and hype hasn’t decreased one bit. night time was spent in the kitchen with our best attempt to make sushi. our final product looked oddly shaped and very unproportional, but it tasted a lot better than it looked
