mostly been a winger for squirtle all season, but getting my time at defense tonight. i much enjoy that our team can be in the same locker room as opposed to separating it be gender. we lost by a margin, but i still had fun. honestly my ankle is struggling when in that skate. the ganglion on the medial side is only getting worse and really bothers me especially in the second half of the game. i’m not sure what i need to do and how to address this issue. what will it take to continue playing this sport?
this is the most skilled team we’ve versed so far this season. it was evident they were very seasoned as seen with their passing and chemistry. they had danglers, great passers and sharpshooters. we lost the game, but probably played one of our best team game and stayed with them the whole game. like any other wednesday, my legs were dead tired by the time i got home for another late dinner. i was happy to see all the chasiu baos waiting for me at home and devoured all of them after all that expenditure
we had a rough start with some jersey cafluffle, but nacho friends season opener turned out to be really fun. because we’re a brand new team still trying figure so much out, it took us two periods to get on the scoreboard. i had a rough first period trying to get my legs underneath me and it didn’t help that i dove to block a puck and ended up feeling like my airway was obstructed. you’d think i learned my lesson, but i dove again in the third period to keep the puck on side which ended up to be the first assist of two. we lost 3-2 but it was a fun and tame game
the ashl season is coming up quicker than we know it and it’ll be up to me and my assistant captain to to get everyone else up to speed. this is nacho friend’s first season in ashl, so attending the team rep meeting was pertinent. i never knew the league was so big, even the women’s division had forty one teams. picked up the all important league rule book so now i have some reading to do. i’m hoping this will be a fun team and a fun season
it was a marathon day. robot league playoffs followed by a hockey triple header for blings, chicks and sticks, and civil war, all consecutive with an hour rest combined. chiro was not thrilled but in the end he let it be and allowed me go through with it. i had much fun playing in playing in tier 5 hockey for my first time. so glad that higher tier game was the first followed by middle tier and then low because i was out of gas by drop in. my si joint started to give me sharp pains again in the second series of playoffs. it seems like tylenol is part of my diet nowadays just so i can satisfy my basic movements. it would be a lot more fun when i can play pain free again. when will that be??
