day 2347 – exposure bubbles

six days into the new year is earlier than i’d like to break the bubble tea streak. since i was having the first of the year, i might as well go for their top pick – exposure supreme milk tea. it was premium milk tea loaded with pearls and pudding. at least i can justify it by having burned some calories prior to the enjoyment. hopefully i’ll last much longer without breaking the fast food streak

day 2339 – burnaby museum

gave up on aurora winter festival for burnaby heritage museum because the admissions didn’t make it appealing. i went in with little expectations considering it’s free admissions. there were a bunch of picture worthy backgrounds. it was drizzly but the weather cooperated for the most part. we took the pictures and left for some bubble tea. i finished off the night with a few late night episodes of prince of tennis

day 2301 – surrendered bubble tea

because i was still feeling the ill-effects of the bronchitis, cough and cold, i surrendered my free bubble tea to someone who would be able to enjoy it more. over a week of intense coughing day and night. i’ve gone through bottles of cough syrup, packets of lozenges and endless tylenol cold pills, yet i still can’t get some quality sleep during the night. all i want is to rid this nagging cough, sore throat and runny nose

day 2258 – mom’s cake day

my regular tuesday olympic lift day went well, maybe because it being my mom’s birthday gave me the extra boost. i made all my lifts today which rarely happens. it’s odd to say my snatches felt very controlled when i have one sore elbow from all the falls. after some heavy lifting, enjoyed a family dinner at home and mango mousse birthday cake for dessert. another year passes by, another birthday celebration, but always celebrating with those who give me unconditional love. growing older each year makes me realize what i should cherish more

day 2254 – chunyang

friday finally came and i couldn’t be more happier the work week is over and i have the following monday off. trying out a new bubble tea spot on alderbridge because they have buy one get one fifty off. i had their brown sugar pearls milk tea and their pearls are really soft and chewy. it’s a pity they don’t have much seating for guests. we were basically standing by the bay doors freezing my butt off because i was wearing shorts

day 2095 – xingfu tea

i didn’t do what i wanted to do this morning – have my xrays taken. it would have been a killer to wake up at 8am after a late night for walk in clinic. one thing i did do was stop at the newest bubble tea shop after our civil war game. i ordered their speciality brown sugar pearl with milk tea. it tasted good, but nothing crazy enough for me to line up for. in fact, i probably would prefer something else because it was too sweet for my normal liking. drinks aside, i just like to hang out with this bunch after games

day 2076 – card building

the gstrings wanted to hangout and chill over some bubble tea, so we did a late night boba visit. this is so bad for my diet, but i was determined to keep the damage to a minimal by only drinking half of my half sweet taro slush. first time in a quite some time we sat down as a team and just chilled. we also played some big two and card building while some golfed down sushi and bubble waffles. i’m going to pay for staying out so late tomorrow morning
