having some down time amidst my busy schedule is never a bad thing. spent my alone time being productive at timmys and doing my readings before i go off to training. i am only on the first chapter of this book, but everything that’s been said totally relates to me. this might help pull me out of the many competition ruts that i stumbled upon. why have i not read this book way back to my first competition days??
dual duty can be very exhausting and maddening when we’re trying to train but training students takes precedence. we need all the training time we can get from here on but we can only get ours in when all the students leave. here we are into our fourth hour of saturday night training. can’t blame us for taking some breaks, taking awkward selfies and searching music on youtube. i’m still not feeling good about my own game and time is ticking away every waking second. expect more of these nights to come and panic attacks as it gets into crunch time
