day 2428 – choreographing

everyday since being in quarantine, one of the things i look forward to is going into the gym to train. it’s good that we’re putting some initial choreography thoughts into action. i do, however, worry that my basics isn’t sound, my skill-set is limited, my technique is inconsistent and i’m not enough to match my partner. the last thing i want to do is disappoint my partner and coach. the only thing i can really promise and control is to work hard at solidifying what i need to hold my own

day 2407 – brainstorming

the thirty six hour whirlwind of text messages, calls and emails is finally over. i got the all important document that salvaged killarney classes for this weekend. even though it’s fixed in the nick of time, it doesn’t change the fact the business owner didn’t own up to his school and left me out on this insurance roller coaster. if i hadn’t personally reached out, none of the problem would never have been resolved. i’m learning as i go, but i’m also learning how much the grandmaster is willing to do for killarney. maybe it’s really time i start my own thing

day 1681 – smart measures 

img_20200130_2245387066162134431817214.jpgi’m the type who always has goals and ambitions, but require a clear picture with deliberate plan of attack of how i will achieve it. formally sitting down to reorganize and solidify that the direction i’m headed is indeed the direction i want to go. it’s vital to have well thought out smart goals; quantifiable and measurable results is what i’ve always known. at the end of the day, being able to check off something because i worked hard to attain it is irreplaceable

day 1676 – good to great


img_20200203_1331426874807057382806336.jpgtrying to kickstart a good march with a quote on my whiteboard. sitting down with the boss for a swot session made me think really hard about my strengths and how i can make them from good to great. leaving the room with a new way of thinking through things and how i can grow as a human being in the work force. i can only imagine the series of coaching sessions will be a good place to boost my career growth. there’s a lot of brainstorming and homework to be done

day 455 – vdl halloween week

it is a vdl tradition of halloween dress up week. halloween enthusiasts came dressed up with some cool costumes ideas  for vdl contest to win some unknown prizes. i don’t traditionally dress up and i had totally neglected to brainstorm of any costume ideas. i was high in spirit but low in energy and mobility as i was still mightily sore from previous gym session, someone must have forgotten the importance of protein
