day 2283 – prp treatment

in naturopath clinic to do my first platelet rich plasma treatment. these prp treatments will burn a hole through my wallet, but my foot left me with no other option. it was very neat and very scary at the same time; watching the machine spin and separate my blood into parts and having it put back into me. getting what must have been twenty injections was a painful process. i had both feet done and could barely walk out of the office myself

day 1329 – mothering me

family will always be family and i am grateful to have caring ones. last night my mom said i was pale, this morning she handed me bottles and said i need to replenish the blood i lost. these red dates doesn’t taste good but i’ll drink it to give her a peace of mind. my mom was clearly more concerned than i was. at the end of the day, i know my mom cares for me more than i know it and still treats me her little girl

day 1325 – punctured

i looked down at my foot because i felt some pain, only to see red. i spent two hours hiding in the washroom trying to stop the bleeding because i didn’t want my parents to know. as i want for the bleeding to stop, doctor friends told me to go emergency room plus get my tetanus shot done soon. my mom later told me i had left a trail of bloodied footprints from the kitchen and up the stairs to my room. so i still need to play queen’s tomorrow and hoping that an insurmountable of gauze will cushion the wound and let me play

day 1320 – can’t catch a break

what are the odds of wounding both elbows in a day?? i hurt myself often and i’ve gotten very good at doing so. didn’t think the initial hit could be so bad until a saw a trail down my arm. my parents freaked out over it and gave me their best version of tape job. felt like my body clock was utterly out of sync today and couldn’t explain why . don’t want to think tomorrow is monday again and not ready to take in another week of work and busyness

day 873 – more needles

back for more needles because i need my finger to work. it’s been getting better, but progressing slower than i’d like. at times i test it out cause it feels good enough to take on more, but i go overboard and it tells me to back off. feeling more and more impatient with each passing day, it’s really driving me up the wall. time is ticking and every minute passing is a minute of wasted and missed training time

day 868 – finger fix

just trying to get help for my finger by having an acupuncturist poke me repeatedly with needles. in order to decrease the swelling and bruising, draining some blood out of my finger is a must. she told me it’d hurt a little and that i will lose six to seven drops of blood; she told me not to panic, and i didn’t. maybe it’s the fact that i didn’t, that she decided she’d go through the process twice. i would admit it was painful especially having her squeeze it out, but i am disappointed i didn’t lose twelve droplets nor did i manage to get good snapchat footage of the process
