day 1271 – hamberite reunite

doing an lunch hotpot and gaming get together with a few hamber buddies. i haven’t had the opportunity to chill with friends since i’ve had a hectic schedule. spent several hours catching up and gaming before i had to head out for skating and then a pregame warmup. i brought my favourites to the hotpot: fish tofu along with some fish balls, enoki and shirataki, but who shows up to a hotpot with carrot and celery sticks??

treated to a lunch by my student because she wanted to give me a christmas present but didn’t know what to buy. it was very sweet of her but i’m happy to take her out. i made her make sure there’s no onions and no green onions in my dish. it’s bizarre she’s so scared of me, yet she likes me and always wants to hang out with me. that logic is puzzling, but i must be doing something right

day 798 – free turkey

a bizarre way of marketing for a physio clinic but i guess that being bizarre also catches people’s attention. this day and age, people are coming up with some of the most random ideas. not sure if i would do it just for the turkey, i wouldn’t have any use for the turkey since there’s no turkey feast this thanksgiving. having turkey is great, but i’d much rather not have turkey meals for the five days that follows

day 565 – absurd

how in the world can someone walk into the gym with a cane but leave without it after a workout. apparently it’s possible because i witnessed it first hand tonight in the change room and here’s a photo to prove it. bizarre things happen every now and then. the world is full of surprises and might throw you a curveball when you least expect it. i guess the surprises keep us on our toes and makes life interesting

day 241 – finally a saturday off

sunshine after the rain and i spy a rainbow amongst the clouds. a bizarre day filled with multiple weather changes and uncharacteristic patterns. it was all sunshine when i walked into the bank, came out within three minutes and it was pouring rain, got to love vancouver’s mother nature
