day 1661 Рgstrings revamped 

four months is a long time to go without having played a dodgeball game. my thumb is heavily taped up and ready to get this season underway. as expected, i was rusty with my throwing, catching and timing. i’m in no position to complain because just being on the court with my teammates and friends is a luxury i haven’t had in far too long. i never take being able to walk on and off the court unscathed for granted. i know that with play, slowly but surely i’ll work my way back into my game form

day 746 – morning session

good morning, waking up early for a morning session to start off my saturday right. morning gym seshs are tougher than the usual, clearly, i am not a morning gym person. doing everything i can possibly do, under my control, to steer the ship in the right direction. learning to stay patient and shoot for long term progress over short term goals. i know that i am taking tiny steps forward and making progress everyday, and only time will tell. i am trying my best, i will get there when i am meant to get there. in the meantime, i will continue to breathe and chug on

day 270 – strong urge

mr sun is out, the weather is changing for the better, i want to be out on the hardcourt hitting my green balls. at the same time i know i have to hold off and set my priorities straight for much more pressing issues. no hardcourt, no other sports and minimal dodgeball until i return from nationals. i can’t afford to have any hiccups because i have already committed to compete. i can look forward to having a lot of playing time this summer after competition

day 198 – doctors note

physio’s final words for me until further notice, but to me it feels more like a death sentence. my physio knows me best so i will try to cooperate and trust that he can get me back as soon as possible. i will be ready once i get cleared but i also know that i may have to miss this competition
