day 566 – physio at his best

physio had his radar on me the entire morning and went crazy today pushing me hard and maxing out my leg. said he was on a mission to push my left leg to match the other because he’s simply not satisfied that i am settling. upon hearing that, my kinesiologist was on my back because physio faulted him for not working me hard enough. physio also discussed my mri report to confirm results came back negative. the good news is nothing broken and nothing torn, the not so good news is he has the green light to hurt me in any possible way to fix whatever is wrong with me

this song depicts exactly what my mind and body frequently goes through. wanting something so bad and putting in the work but often not feeling any progress is made. all the setbacks to overcome and awful feeling when i physical, emotionally and pscyhologically fall apart, but it is worth every ounce of sweat when i get past the struggles to see the day i climb to the mountain top. many thanks for pushing me when i lose motivation, guiding me when i stray off track, and putting me back together when i fall apart; i won’t stop until i reach what used to be a dream become reality

day 235 – battle marks

it was fun in its entirety but the aftermath of tag team sparring looked a little nasty. took a kick in the hand without wearing any gloves and resulted in a bruised hand and numerous undisclosed battle marks on other parts of my body. bruising isn’t my main concern, i’d definitely do it again next week

day 35 – battling a fly

2:40am and here i am still awake all thanks to a relentless fly that made me angry buzzing around in my room and biting me in the hand. the fly just challenged me and challenge is accepted. i will not sleep in my room until i win this battle so prepare a tomb and coffin for this fly because i don’t let flies who bite me get away with it
