day 1807 – camper

i was on the fence of doing bootcamp today but got peer pressured into it since multiple coworkers tried to call me out for skipping. i didn’t want it to interfere with the new workout schedule i had planned to start. luckily i didn’t get lazy after the bootcamp; i stuck with my original plan and went to the gym after. it worked out because i spent that time at the gym while knight bridge was experiencing huge delays from a truck collision. though i didn’t completely escape from the backed up traffic of a flipped truck, i got my pulling exercises in

day 1402 – going for it


i most certainly don’t make the best choices when it comes to precautionary circumstances, but i went for it anyways. i’m stoked that i just went triple digit and made my bench pr. benching has always been my weakest major lift; for that reason, i avoid it. i’m told that with my athleticism, i should be able to bench at least my bodyweight; i sneered every time i’m told because i know that’s too much to ask of me. after today, my goal towards bodyweight may not be unachievable after all. thanks for always reminding me it’s a must – you had more belief in me than i ever had

day 1036 – familiar territory

they say a bad day can be made better by going to the gym – i agree. this is one of my happy place; one that i can feel safe like my home. it’s a great feeling to be back at the nash i was so used to before i went on a galore of travelling. i’ll be back often and be a regular again. i am ready to break a sweat for a night session and beat out all the troubles at hand. definitely starting the month of june off with a good session, a month of many good things to look forward to and work hard for

day 938 – big dumbbells

hanging around with the big boys with the big weights. finally stepping it up and trying to befriend that sixty and sixty-fiver for rows. elbow held up well for back day, but once dodgeball rolled around, it’s completely shot again. clearly something is really wrong with it but i still haven’t figured it out. i need to get to the bottom of this in a hurry. i can’t go through the rest of the season either not throwing or throwing in pain

day 913 – off limits

i had to stay away from legs exercises all week long because of my shin issues, today was no exception. it hasn’t allowed me to walk or drive properly, let alone handle any lower body exercises – trust me, i was crazy enough to try. a couple days of inactivity and so called rest, and i’m sad to say my legs are still off limit. i still got to do what i got to do, so i guess today is yet another upper body day. i’m almost begging my shins to heal up so i can go about my business

day 888 – gym life

while my parents sent me a picture of themselves at the gym in mexico resort, so was i. getting on with my 2016 gyming just like any other day. is it really true that people make new year’s resolution to hit the gym starting january doesn’t get past the first week?? there’s not many survivors here from what i can see, but i am not complaining cause that means more space for me. less waiting and more doing to climbing closer to my fitgoals with every rep

day 825 – stupid train

i swear i was stuck here for ten plus minutes waiting for this long ass train to cross. quite possibly one of the most boring ten minutes of my life watching it slowly make its way from right to left but there’s nothing i could do about it. at some point i got so impatient i put my car into park and even tempted to turn off my engine. at least i had a very active and fun filled night with gym followed by a solid hour and a half of dodgeball. that’s two straight days being physically active but i am expecting to be mighty sore tomorrow
