slept until 1pm because saturday night shenanigans didn’t end until 5am. continuing my crazy birthday weekend with flightclub family that started with earl’s happy hour, then escape room puzzle solving and ended with an open gym session. it was great both the groups solved the mystery and escape our respective rooms. the giant birthday back tuck circle during open gym was definitely a bonus that capped it all off. i’m grateful so many people in my life wanted to hangout and celebrate my birthday with me
tis the season where christmas gifts and chocolates from students and parents start to flow in. this is the time where students and parents show their appreciation of the hard work we put in throughout the whole year. today’s surprises were a box of godiva chocolate and a starbucks gift card. the chocolates are dangerous because i have a soft spot for certain types of chocolates and will end up eating all of them by myself
we gather today to enjoy a meal for the best dad i know. even when we don’t show the mutual love and care explicitly, we both know it exists. i just wanted to make sure we got this meal out of the way because restaurants tend to get way too busy on the sunday of. toast to another year of memories, hoping i can make more time to share with family to create even more memories!!
celebrating father’s day early with a dinner at the french table where everything is extremely overpriced. i wouldn’t say the food was awesome, but it wasn’t too shabby. cheers to the best dad out there, i know all these years he would go the extra mile to do what’s best for me. and no matter how often i frustrate him, he still hasn’t given up on me. afterall, giving a hard time to parents is all part of what a daughter should do
