day 2410 – anniversary dimsum

my parents have gone through many anniversaries, but not one is less important than the others. it’s always good to celebrate these events as a family because it wouldn’t exist without any one of us. the celebration was good but beyond that, life is a little grim. not only are both my ankle messed up or sprained, both my knee are banged up from a tumble, both my wrist are in pain and my right shoulder is still recovering

day 1946 – second year

img_20200130_204038815882520886118212.jpgtwo years ago to the day, i stepped into this office with a loosely defined position under a manager that hadn’t got a clue. insert a different manager and fast forward two years later, i’ve learned a lot under his guidance, and grown to become a better leader. i couldn’t be happier of where my manager has guided me. he who believed i could handle a team behind me and described me to have a cool temperament. looking back this year, i’ve accomplished a whole lot without even noticing. moving into third year, i’ll have to continually think about what i want to be and where i ultimately want to go

day 1682 – anniversary toast

recognizing a special day for the tongs family, namely my parents. i’m so happy to spend the most precious time with my loved ones. a toast to the two special people in my life, i look forward to sharing more moments like this. what was suppose to be a three course meal became a two course meal. i was too full i elected to skip the main course and only had my appetizer and dessert. the lobster burger will have to wait until tomorrow

day 1581 – outfit of the day

img_20200203_1452257240786511345466629.jpgperhaps wearing my new oxford look-alike today gave me a special bounce in my step. today marks one year, how time flies and how things have changed since my start at hd. i’m grateful for how things have shaped up and how much i’ve grown and improved. i’ve doubted myself in so many ways and lost myself far too many times, but i somehow i carried forward even at the toughest crossroad. i look forward to all the opportunities that lie ahead knowing i’m paving my own path

day 1327 – belated celly

img_20200204_1715133577963831177299706.jpgour significant day was delayed but not forgotten; finally getting around to celebrating with some finer dining. it’s a stepping stone for both of us and a much deserved night out. we’ve shared a lot and made the most of everything. of course we’ve had our ups and downs and sometimes i can’t help but feel distant, but i’ll still try to take the good with the bad. in every relationship there’ll be a mix of surprises and disappointments, i chose so to dissipate it and not let it affect me too long and turn the page from the recent built up frustration

day 1110 – companionship

img_20190811_1133286747062911931697498.jpgsundays are meant to be lazy, but we started off the day by hitting up nash because we both needed our lifting fix. the laziness ensued with a movie and some shopping before our evening feast. our busy and ever changing schedule has made it difficult for us to workout together, but we made it happen on one of our significant days. it’s been one heck of a ride, i am so glad to have a companion by my side for the roller coaster ride we call life

third anniversary special edition

over a thousand days later, tongtongvision has reached it’s third anniversary. what i started three years ago as a small undertaking has emerged into something very special; my life writes it, and it writes my life. dedicating this year’s special edition to showcase clips of my 2016 nationals in calgary. as always, a traveling experience and teambonding experience that had no shortage of fun and stressful times, but left me with some crazy memories. i take all the experiences learned and hope that it will come in handy one day. i am not sure how many more nationals i have in me, but i want each succeeding one to be better than the previous. life is about making progress, life is about never settling for less than what you believe in
