day 2205 – sync x-out

i wasn’t pressing to regain confidence in my back tuck after necking it, but i’m happy to say i got it back only nine days since. thinking it’s time to ease myself into the x-out, i pleasantly progressed back onto the floor in just one day. i’m even happier i actually have some moves i can now sync with others. it really does help when i get to do it alongside one of the best. not only does it push me to go for it, it also allows me to study and compare what he’s doing batter and what i can do to get mine better. this is by far the best x-out i’ve ever done on floor and feeling grateful for all the support he’s given me

2042 – killarney kids

this is the end of our poomsae training sessions before saturday’s bc championship. this is one of the largest killarney team we’ll have at a provincial competition. through the past several weeks of training, they’ve work really hard and improved a lot. i want to keep growing killarney’s competition team and create the comradery that we’ve never had before. hopefully this will lead to something good like taking some of them to bigger stages

day 1893 – western lake

it’s always a special occasion when the best mom i know is celebrating her birthday. together, we celebrated at western lake restaurant with some chinese food. as the years pass by, the amount of time i spend with her lessens and is sporadic at times. my schedule is horrendously packed on a regular basis, but i do what i can to set aside time for family. for that reason, having everyone together like tonight is important. i’ll continue to re-evaluate my priorities to see how i can better manage everything else on my plate
