day 526 – car show

image

looking back to two summers ago when my family of four was in posession of five cars. had lots of fun doing a photo shoot under the train tracks. these photos make me think of the beloved acura that i grew up with. i love my beemer for many obvious reasons, all of which contributes to my quality of life. but sometimes, just sometimes, i can’t help missing my old car which served me so well and only hope the new owner treats it well

day 134 – miss you at times like this

image

winter has begun and my beemer is skidding an sliding even on very thin snow. this is when i really miss my old all wheel drive acura and its snow tires. i am not looking forward to anymore snow in the city but please snow more on the mountain top because i cannot afford to be trapped at home on snowy days. i can already fore see winter seasons giving more problems than my car can handle

day 64 – ilx

image

what would have been my top choice for new car if it weren’t for the current car. the rear of the ilx carries some resemblance to my beemer, but still not as spiffy. i know its still new and trying to break into the market but so far i have yet to see them on the road, this would probably be the first

day 62 – time flies

image

two full months have passed by since ditching my acura and upgrading my wheels, missing my old license plate. loving my new ride everyday. the car i have named shadow is capable of going real fast with little efforts, but that doesn’t stop me from missing the acura that’s gotten me through the years

day 18 – filling up

image

premium fuel for my car is extremely expensive with the skyrocketting vancouver gas prices, more expensive than fuel for me. but my car must eat, even if i don’t eat. and this is when i really miss my acura when i could fill in regular grade fuel. hoping i treat my car well and it will treat me well in return

day 14 – my beloved acura sold

image

it’s farewell, i will never forget all the memories we created and all the adventures we have been through. it’s been a great ride, you have been a workhorse and served me well for the last five years but it is time to let go. i will be missing your little engine and snowtires that gets me all over the place even in vancouver’s worst conditions. wish the new owner treats you well and one day we will meet on the road again

day 3 – family portrait

image

welcome to the family c300, you fit in just perfect in the family portrait. never get tired of taking pictures and admiring our family collection. it’s all part of hardwork and success that allows this to happen and hope it only grows bigger and better. it’s when a family of four owns five cars that makes everything interesting
