2015 at a glance

pulled together snapshots of some of my favourite and not so favourite moments of 2015. through this unfiltered eye, it pieces together my year and the things that took place behind the lens. it was 365 days of ups and downs, but having survived it all made me realize and learn more about myself. i have grown on many levels, taken strides to step out of my comfort zone and in the end, all that made me a better and stronger person more readied to tackle greater challenges. i will take all the lessons learned and head into the new year with the mindset of continuous progress and self improvement. 2015 had it’s moments – building the foundation and laying out the backbone necessary for success. i have a good feeling 2016 will be a year of many breakthroughs and personal achievements

day 782 – quarterly

image

just as i thought it is the same old quarterly event, things start to get interesting. unexpected circumstances arise with the stresses of putting together a solo performance on the spot. i suppose there were many things in my repertoire that i could use, but i didn’t want to think and just resorted to some stick knife self defense. another prime example of the always ready expectations put to the test, i can never get too comfortable with that phenomena

embracing 2015

2014 had a lot of ups and downs, crazy adventures and awesome experiences but all in all, its a mediocre year. a breakthrough year from dodgeball, not only became a league executive and marcom graphics designer, but also became a tier 3 champ, tier 6 champ and came ever so close to tier 2 champ. took a step further into taekwondo competition, traveling out of town for nationals and governor’s cup, putting our school on the american radar and even bringing home some hardware. traveling experiences brought the team together, giving us teambonding experiences and adventures. at times, i got a little carried away with drinking and partying but it was part of letting a little loose. fortunate to have the opportunity to get closer with some people in my life that’s given me a new perspective in life. the downfall came with the countless injuries i suffered with nonstop and uncontrollable knee dislodges, sport threatening knee injury, unstable hip alignment, ankle sprains, concussions, blackouts, undisclosed wrist injury soon to have a mri confirmation of severity

embracing 2015 with many ambitions, new goals,  and hoping to create a lot more amazing memories with the people in my life

  • stay healthy, refrain from injuries, train well and get stronger
  • eat better, work at my weaknesses and stick with the game plan
  • taekwondo competition trek
  • spend more quality time with family
  • be more open minded and step out of my comfort zone to try new things
  • meet more people and develop a well rounded network
  • reconnect with and make time for old friends that tends to be neglected
  • pick up photography
  • continue blogging and bettering my site
  • travel to explore the world
  • stop being a workaholic and appreciate the little things in life

ready to make this the best year yet!!

day 518 – eve adventure

time has flown by so quickly, today is the last day of the year. instead of going to a large scaled event to party like originally planned, decided to keep it low and have a quiet celebration to the new year. had a good time going up mount seymour and strolling around downtown for the countdown. it was a mix of good and bad this year with many eventful times, but through all i have grown to be stronger and ready to take the next step and make things happen in 2015

2014 at a glance

snippets of my year and the memorable moments that were captured and many that were uncaptured but put into a special place in my memory bank. i have done a better job in taking photos and tracking the little things that takes place in my daily life so not to lose the memories i cherish. lots happened in the past twelve months and it would be impossible to display every one of them in a short video so just because you weren’t included in this slideshow, our time spent together still meant the world to me. it was a year of many changes, obstacles, challenges, setbacks but i have taken all that as life lessons to only get stronger and more prepared for what life will throw at me next year. 2014 was not the best of my years, but hoping to turn things around for 2015
